While the city of Los Angeles is rich in history, most agree that the city’s architectural landscape was poorly built and designed. A recent book reveals a set of originally proposed ideas for parks, monorails, and subways that would have made the city a far more functional and aesthetically pleasing environment than its current incarnation. Of course, it’s never too late to build anew.
